To cool for school, The Astronomical Kid wants to be like Nas and Jay-Z when he grows up.
Returning to Brooklyn Fashion Week after a notably disappointing opening night on Friday, we didn’t expect much. If I had not had an obligation to meet clients there, I wouldn’t have gone. Saturday night was ten times better than Friday night not in small part because of The Astronomical Kid’s performance backed up by his three dancers. Adding all four of their ages together, they still might not be able to get into a bar but they sure did bring down the house.
The Astronomical Kid standing all of four and some feet high, has a talent for lyrical escapades. He struted up and down the catwalk imitating the canon of choreography that rappers employ while the back up dancers thrashed around seductively. Some man backing him up lyrically in the back, asserted that he writes his own rhymes. If its true it just makes him that much more impressive.
